Darkness Falls

It was a cool night to shoot the Washington Monument with low lying clouds socking the top in. I didn’t even know I’d captured this bird until I downloaded my photos to the ol’ computer. If I was better at using Photoshop I would have cloned out the tree on the lower left. Oh well, I still like it and find that I’m starting to like photos that have a dark mood to them. Don’t worry though, I’m all cheery on the inside, like a toddler eating a drippy ice cream cone.

That bird isn’t Photoshopped? This image is outstanding. There are literally billions of pictures of this monument. To make an image that sounds out is truly notable.

Wow. That picture is fabulous, makes its own political statement. And I wouldn’t worry about the lack of “photoshopping”. It keeps the picture organic and true. Thanks for sharing.
