I finally visited Rock Creek Cemetery today! This is far and away my favorite cemetery. (That feels weird to say.) There are so many awesome and eerie statues.

I agree with Shawn, it does appear that the statue is weeping. I love ducking into less traveled areas of DC to find gems like this. Nice capture.

I’m a fan of cemetery shots, this one is really good! It’s sad to see the state of some of these places where they look like they could use some TLC but guess that’s the way it goes sometimes. The B&W conversion is the perfect treatment for this photo — it wouldn’t have the same impact in color.
