I don’t know how everyone else feels, but it sure feels to me like life is constantly in 5th gear. Between family, church, work, etc. there is always so much to do. I’m a firm believer in making sure there is “margin” in my life but even so things seem to fill in the cracks.
This weekend my son took the SAT and I ended up getting to the school to pick him up way too early. What to do on a rainy day, stuck in a car waiting for your son? Macro shots of course. This is a “classic” 1990 Honda Accord manual gear shift:)

Great DOF and composition. I love the stark black framing the top edges of the shifter. Nicely done.
