The latest, and perhaps final, monument on the National Mall. The brilliant sculpture of Martin Luther King, Jr. as the great American and Civil Rights leader looks across the Tidal Basin facing the Jefferson Memorial. Despite the controversy surrounding the Production materials and the nationality of the sculpture the monument stands tall as a testament to the greatest of the man and more importantly his ideas.

The 14th Street Bridge (a complex of 5 bridges) over the Potomac River connecting Arlington, VA with Washington, DC. On the left is the Rochambeau Bridge and on the right is the George Mason Memorial Bridge
